The Programme

Each invited person will be provided with a limited amount of pre-reading and will be asked to submit their top action idea prior to the Summit.  There will be no boundary on the nature or type of idea that can be submitted.

Running on May 21st, the Summit will start with registration from 8amThe official launch will be at 8.30, followed by a full day of workshops designed to review, refine, re-develop and innovate upon the ideas submitted.  Participants will be divided into facilitated working groups that are challenged to work with the ideas and develop a series of innovative recommendations for improving New Zealand’s productivity. By 4.30pm the groups will be ready to present to the Deputy Prime Minister the top five ideas from the day.

The Summit will be the first step on a journey by a Leadership team who are committed to taking responsibility for bringing the recommendations to life.

The Output

The New Zealand Entrepreneurial Summit aims to come up with innovative ideas that challenge the normal thinking for solving the issues New Zealand faces.  A ‘book’ of ideas will be electronically published for all to see.  Not just one or two ideas, but 100 ideas from people who have made ideas work; New Zealand’s entrepreneurs.
